A lovey-dovey spirit is taking over Hollywood, and I’m not talking about the newest celeb relationships. Many actresses have been channeling romance through uberpretty beauty looks, from soft waves and delicate braids to drop-dead gorgeous makeup. The latest starlets to embrace this dreamy, amorous mood on the red carpet—and brave our beauty battle—are Anne Hathaway and Nikki Reed!

Hairstyle Anne looked absolutely alluring at the premiere of her new movie, One Day, where she wore Chanel makeup. The subdued eggplant shade on her lids and the charcoal liner defining her top and bottom lash line helped bring out her hazel eyes, and on her lips she wore a deep rosy pink shade that looked young and pretty. The actress wore her long brown hair in loose waves that worked perfectly with the overall look.

Nikki continued the romance theme, albeit in a very different way, at the Teen Choice Awards. The warm brown tones on her eyes and cheeks created a muted glow, leaving her looking naturally radiant, and her lips were topped with a sheer, shimmery peach gloss. Her adorable hairstyle, which featured a thin braid woven across the top of the head and a loose chignon in the back, was slightly reminiscent of the whimsical coifs at the fall 2011 Valentino couture show.
